An international symposium based on the dtec.bw and NextGenerationEU funded research and development project Media for Peace (M4P) took place at the Universität der Bundeswehr München (UniBw) between October 21-22, 2021.

A number of international academics having expertise in the fields of media and communication, conflict, peace building, and political science attended the two-day event and spoke at length whilst being part of various panels over a wide range of topics pertinent to the project.

I also had the pleasure of moderating two different panels – one with Prof. Dr. Christoph Neuberger (from the Freie Universität Berlin) and the other with Prof. Dr. Annika Sehl – on the role of journalism in wars and conflicts, as well as aspects pertaining to meaningful Twitter analysis.
