The International Student Week in Ilmenau or ISWI took place between June 02-11, 2023, in Ilmenau. In one of the sessions, known as Science Slam, selected doctoral candidates, including myself, presented research related to our topics in a fun and engaging manner to the global audience seated at the Audimax of the Technische Universität Ilmenau.

Along with participating in the Science Slam, I also had the pleasure of presenting insights related to the dtec.bw and NextGeneration EU research and development project Media for Peace (M4P) at ISWI. Along with highlighting theoretical and practical aspects of the project to the audience members, we also discussed the role of media and journalism in peace building and conflict-reporting from normative and professional perspectives.
